Name your price at Petazon - Ask for a Deal on Pet Supplies

A couple of weeks ago we let our readers know about the Petazon Price Comparison Engine for pet supplies. Since that blog entry, the owners of Petazon have expanded the functionality to include "Ask for a Deal" which is a unique, one-of-a-kind feature in the industry.

"Ask for a Deal" works like this:

1. Search for a pet product & compare prices.


2. Chances are, you will find a price much better than you expected ... but....


3. If the price is too high, fill out the "Ask for a Deal" form on the right side of the product page.


4. State the quantity you wish to purchase (many of the participating retailers will lower the price on higher quantities).


5. State the price you are willing to pay (make this reasonable so the retailer respects your request)


6. Petazon will contact a participating retailer on your behalf and see if anyone will match your request.


7. If no retailers will match your request, the request if queued up for an alert. You will be notified if the price drops to or below your designated price.

Petazon is not stating which retailers are participating, but they did tell us that over 25,000 pet, farm and garden products are up for bargain.
